Your Donations at Work

Support David Crockett Birthplace State Park and its rich history by voting today!

Previously, support from the My TN State Parks Fundraiser allowed David Crockett Birthplace State Park to add native plants throughout the park. This year, our park aims to build and maintain a historically accurate replica of David Crockett’s cabin to serve as the focal point for the living homestead and park, in partnership with our Friend’s Group.

David Crockett is one of Tennessee's most renowned heroes and among the country’s most revered pioneers in history. Your generous contributions can help ensure that his story and legacy endure as one of the most compelling and pivotal chapters in American history.

We hike at David Crockett Birthplace Park almost every day with our dog, Jessie! The Park is clean and well groomed with great trails. We have watched this Park grow over the last 10 years. Great programs too. Thank you for providing this community a place to hike, picnic and camp! Vickie and Tom Tschantz

Love the way this park celebrates history and supports the environment by planting native trees and has made a gourd habitat for the birds. I saw a tree swallow in one of the gourds.

I love visiting this "boutique" park. It is small enough where you don't feel ignored but large enough where you don't feel crowded. Excellent fishing and lots of room to hike. Love the kayaking opportunities as well.
