    We hike at David Crockett Birthplace Park almost every day with our dog, Jessie! The Park is clean and well groomed with great trails. We have watched this Park grow over the last 10 years.     Love the way this park celebrates history and supports the environment by planting native trees and has made a gourd habitat for the birds. I saw a tree swallow in one of the gourds.

    Serene seasonal park staffed with knowledgeable friendly Rangers and Volunteers. Very interesting events and activities are held for all ages.

    I love visiting this "boutique" park. It is small enough where you don't feel ignored but large enough where you don't feel crowded. Excellent fishing and lots of room to hike. Love the kayaking opportunities as well.

    The David Crockett Birthplace is a “must see” in the area. Great history with knowledgeable staff. Also, a great place to just sit and relax after a long day.
