Donate to vote for Standing Stone State Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park in the My TN State Park Fundraiser

For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Standing Stone State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park!

Your votes show that our park is loved, meaningful, and supported, and because we retain the donated funds, we can make our park even better.

Your Donations at Work

Standing Stone State Park has big plans for the funds garnered from the 2024 My TN State Park Campaign, with not one, but three projects we want to accomplish.

With support from the My TN State Park Fundraiser, Standing Stone State Park will be able to enrich their educational experiences by purchasing necessary materials for new programs.

Additionally, our park would use support to enhance interpretive panels that would highlight the significance of the natural resources found in Standing Stone State Park. We will also repair and renovate our nationally recognized marble facilities. For four decades, the marble facilities have played a vital role in one of the most successful and sustained folklife preservation projects in the United States - the National Rolley Hole Marbles Championships. Your support with these repairs and renovations will allow for the continuation of this folklife project and help protect marble playing traditions for future generations.

Vote today to support programs that engage and educate the next generation of public-land champions, encourage environmental stewardship, and enrich park visitor experiences.

I really enjoyed the recent presentations at the park by the naturalists and park rangers. It is so special to see the animals and creatures up close and personal.

Had a wonderful vacation camping here last fall! Hiked around the lake, rented paddle boats, and did a ranger guided hike at night with lanterns. One of our best family vacations.

Our family has been enjoying Standing Stone for 50+ years seeing several generations enjoy the park. It is a great place for the older children to be able to get out and explore nature and all it has to offer. The area is is full of great places to see and things to do. Have loved all the years we have made wonderful memories at Standing Stone.

Standing Stone holds a special place in my heart for several reasons. It is in my hometown, it is absolutely gorgeous and my sister, Stevie Plumlee, was a ranger there for several years. Standing Stone is far and away one of my favorite state parks! Keep up the good work!
