For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Savage Gulf State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park! 

Your votes show that our park is loved, meaningful, and supported, and because we retain the donated funds, we can make our park even better.  

Your Donations at Work 

Support from the My TN State Park Fundraiser will allow our park to create a safer and more comfortable experience for our hikers. Donations will be used to rebuild the tables at the Stone Door Picnic Area as well as replace the trailhead signage throughout the park.

    Love this park for: It’s many Great view points, variety of trails (rim trails with views and trails down in the gulfs), Waterfalls that you enjoy just sitting awhile admiring the Falls and being refreshed by the cool breeze from waterfall mist, and great park staff.

    My favorite Tennessee Park is only a short distance from my Mother in laws's in McMinnville. I visit frequently and usual go to Stone Door which is very restfull to my soul as gaze accross the gorge.

    This is one of the most beautiful places in all of Tennessee. I started backpacking there in 1974 and I love the fact that it is being protected by the people and for the people. I also love the fact that it is an area for those who love the solitude of backpacking and hiking. Please keep it a place where only the those who truly love the wild will venture to go. There are far too many people visiting our parks in this country who have no real appreciation for the wild and no real desire to protect what God has entrusted to us.

About Savage Gulf State Park

As the newest park in the state, Savage Gulf State Park is one of the most exciting as it features some of Tennessee's most scenic wilderness areas. With approximately 60 miles of hiking, visitors can see the park's remarkable vistas, waterfalls, and historical locations.
