For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Rock Island State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park! 

Your votes show that our park is loved, meaningful, and supported, and because we retain the donated funds, we can make our park even better.  

Your Donations at Work 

Your support for Rock Island State Park is critical! In previous years, donations from the My TN State Park Fundraiser allowed Rock Island State Park to purchase pet waste stations, new rescue equipment, interpretive educational materials, native landscaping seed and supplies, and more! 

Ongoing maintenance is needed for the upkeep and reseeding of native plant areas each year. With donations from this year’s My TN State Parks Fundraiser, Rock Island State Park hopes to purchase more native seed and to construct more native nest boxes along the Collins River Prairie site, adding homes for a variety of species.

The whitewater sections along the Caney Fork River Gorge attract international professional kayakers. The park has various accommodations for the whole family, including cabins and campgrounds.
