    My local and favorite TN State Park..a true gem! I can’t wait to go on a hike and see all the beautiful Spring wildflowers..they are truly spectacular. Thank goodness the park offers protection to these species as well as the animals that call it home…such a special place.

    Vacationed at Roan Mt state park October of 2023 we loved the cabin and being completely off the grid. If you need a relaxing, get a way I highly recommend staying at this park. Hiking trails were great, and the views are amazing!!

    As a transplant to the Chattanooga area of TN from NH, every time I visit Roan Mountain it gives me a little taste of traveling back to New England. I especially appreciate the Naturalist Rallies sponsored by the Friens of Roan.

    Roan Mountain Park has the best workshops and I have learned so many skills. The Rangers are excellent in both helping with problems within the park and just being friendly and outgoing.

    Our family has grown up with Roan Mountain Park. The camping, the playgrounds, programs and miles of hiking. Our children and now our grandchildren have enjoyed it’s beautiful.
