Pickett CCC Memorial State Park

Pickett State Park / My TN State Park Fundraiser 2024

Donate to vote for Pickett CCC Memorial State Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park in the My TN State Park Fundraiser

For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Pickett CCC Memorial State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park!

Your votes show that our park is loved, meaningful, and supported, and because we retain the donated funds, we can make our park even better.

Your Donations at Work

Support from the My TN State Park Fundraiser has made Pickett CCC Memorial State Park a safer place for hikers. Last year, our park purchased trail-building tools that not only improved well-loved existing trails but also expanded the trail system in the internationally recognized Pogue Creek Canyon Natural Area. Additionally, we were able to improve the overall aesthetic and educational aspects of the park with fence maintenance and interpretive replica displays for educational experiences.

Keep the momentum going for more projects like these by showing love to Pickett CCC Memorial State Park today!

This is one of TN’s best state parks. Great natural features, easy & hard hikes, plus great recreational and group facilities. Proximity to Big South Fork is a plus. The recent name change is reverence to the members of the CCC.

This is such a beautiful and well-maintained park with fascinating historical significance. Trails are numerous and very well-marked. Cabins very clean. Wish there was more information about the CCC available.

About Pickett CCC Memorial State Park

Pickett CCC Memorial State Park lies adjacent to the Big South Fork National River and Recreation area and within the Pickett State Forest. In 2015 the park earned Silver-tier International Dark Sky Park designation, the first state park in the Southeast to gain this prestigious recognition. Onsite, the Pickett CCC Museum features interpretive exhibits and artifacts depicting the Civilian Conservation Corps' contributions to both Tennessee's parks and natural areas and their extensive efforts across the United States.
