Donate to vote for Montgomery Bell State Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park in the My TN State Park Fundraiser! 

For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Montgomery Bell State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park! 

Your votes show that our park is loved, meaningful, and supported, and because we retain the donated funds, we can make our park even better.  

Your Donations at Work

In the past, Montgomery Bell State Park used donations from the My TN State Park Fundraiser to purchase benches at the park’s aviary, as well as native wildflowers and grasses for meadow restoration in storm-damaged areas.

This year, our park is seeking to install both audio panels and braille interpretation at the visitor center to share the sounds of native songbirds.

    I love Montgomery Bell! Great for hiking and kayaking, and I love to visit their rescued birds of prey area. The Rangers offer amazing programs, too - If you haven't been to a 'golf-cart safari' you need to sign up! We were just at the Lodge Restaurant for their Eclipse party - super fun and great food and drinks. Highly recommend! They also offer mountain bike trails, kayak, canoe and pedal boat rentals and a swimming area. There's something for everyone.

    I grew up in Dickson County going to Montgomery Bell often for church picnics, hiking, high school proms, and more. It is a wonderful, beautiful park. I now try to bring my son there whenever possible - in part to so he can enjoy it, and just as much so that I can continue to visit the park. We will be making another trip there soon!

    Please advertise the April giving in the park. There are a lot of people that use the park camping, hiking, walking, etc that need to give donations. I joined Healthy Parks Healthy Person and thru that learned about the giving program. I think it would be a good idea if someone from the park contacted the newspaper and radio stations in Dickson to get the news out there.

    My husband and I moved here last year from an unsafe area in Memphis. My anxiety was through the roof when we first got here. We went to this park 2 days after moving and I felt it melting away walking all the trails, seeing all the creeks, stone hills and small waterfalls throughout. Thank you and this park so much for helping me find some much needed peace and comfort from a place I couldn’t really go anywhere by myself. ❤️
