For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park! 

Your votes show that our park is loved, meaningful, and supported, and because we retain the donated funds, we can make our park even better.

In previous years, donations from the My TN State Park Fundraiser helped Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park purchase and plant native pollinators near the aviary, as well as support hiking trail maintenance costs. 

This year, our park aims to expand its ecological benefits to the community by expanding native pollinator plants throughout the park.

    This parks hiking trails are such a joy to hike. I have gone from one end to the other multiple times. They keep up with fallen trees and keeping the pathways clear. There's a lot, so some take longer, but eventually they address it. Thanks for such a great park

About Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park

Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park is perfect for the nature enthusiast. With ten state Champion Trees, two National Champion Trees, and various endangered and protected plants, this park, on top of the Chickasaw Bluffs and just north of Memphis, is perfect for family vacations. In addition to rare plant life, visitors may be able to spot songbirds, beavers, otters, bobcats, and other wildlife throughout the forest along the 20 miles of hiking trails.
