Donate to vote for Long Hunter State Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park in the My TN State Park Fundraiser

For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Long Hunter State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park!

Your votes show that our park is loved, meaningful, and supported, and because we retain the donated funds, we can make our park even better.

Your Donations at Work

Previously, donations from the My TN State Park Fundraiser helped Long Hunter State Park replace two trail bridges on Volunteer and Day Loop trails, as well as with the installation of new interpretive displays on Bryant Grove trail.

This year, Long Hunter State Park will plant native plants to support pollinators, allowing for interpretation of native ecology and making the Visitor Center more welcoming.

This park is well-maintained. The Couchville Lake Trail is always a great outing for me and our family. We have also enjoyed the Bryant Grove Trail. The park ranger gave our group an excellent guided tour on a nature trail with a demonstration of the Long Hunter, what he wore, and what he would have carried.

Long Hunter is our happy place! The storybook trail is a must do with the kiddos. Each trail provides something different and unique that only this park can provide. We love being so close to the lake, the views and the wildlife!

Long Hunter is my refuge from a hectic world. I love listening to and watching the birds, watching the plants and trees changing with the seasons, and getting glimpses of the private lives of the wildlife. It’s my place for restoration and renewal. I love Long Hunter.

I have been coming to volunteer trail nearly every Saturday morning for the last 5 years. Rain, show, or shine I never miss it. Thank you for providing and maintaining a space in nature that is important to my well being.
