Donate to vote for Johnsonville State Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park in the My TN State Park Fundraiser

For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Johnsonville State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park!

Your votes show that our park is loved, meaningful, and supported, and because we retain the donated funds, we can make our park even better.

Your Donations at Work

In previous years support from the My TN State Park Fundraiser helped Johnsonville State Historic Park purchase materials to fabricate PVC headstones used to mark all known graves in the African Methodist Cemetery.

This year, our park will use support from the My TN State Park Fundraiser to continue cemetery restoration projects at the Winfrey Cemetery, as well as the Link Family Cemetery at Link Farm State Archeological Area, in partnership with Atlas Preservation.

We visited the park on an early morning in June 2023, and the ranger on duty was so helpful to open the visitor center early for us. Thank you for preserving the history of Tennessee and our country, along with being a steward of God's creation.

About Johnsonville State Historic Park

Named for President Andrew Johnson, Johnsonville State Historic Park was a former Union supply depot during the Civil War. After becoming a state park in 1971, park rangers have dedicated their resources to creating various interpretive programs for the public throughout the year for all ages. In addition to the area's historical significance, visitors can partake in recreational activities like hiking, swimming, geocaching, and fishing.
