Donate to vote for Henry Horton State Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park in the My TN State Park Fundraiser! 

For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Henry Horton State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park! 

Your votes show that our park is loved, meaningful, and supported, and because we retain the donated funds, we can make our park even better.  

Your Donations at Work 

Previously, funds from the My TN State Park Fundraiser helped Henry Horton State Park build a large extension onto the bird of prey enclosures, adding a layer of safety as well as an area for wellness care and respite for the birds. In addition, your support helped fund a sawmill and water wheel interpretive display, enhancing education for all park visitors.

This year, Henry Horton aims to use funds to support the creation of an outdoor classroom and to help redo the frames around their Storybook Trail.

    We have been to many parks in the Tennessee system, and Henry Horton is our favorite. It's obvious that the state is investing funds to maintain and grow this park, with the new restaurant and the expansion of the trail system. And the staff is excellent- knowledgeable and helpful. Located on the estate of former Tennessee governor Henry Horton, Henry Horton State Park has one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. The park is popular amongst all outdoor enthusiasts, with Trap and Skeet Ranges, a championship golf course, and various fish species for anglers.
