Donate to vote for Dunbar Cave State Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park in the My TN State Park Fundraiser

For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Dunbar Cave State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park!

Your votes show that our park is loved, meaningful, and supported, and because we retain the donated funds, we can make our park even better.

Your Donations at Work

In previous years, donations from the My TN State Park Fundraiser helped Dunbar Cave State Park add interpretive waysides to provide information about Affricanna Town, a community where newly emancipated African Americans asserted their freedom in 1864, as well as the history of those who were enslaved at Dunbar Cave prior to the war.

Now, our park aims to expand the historical resources throughout the park with a trailhead kiosk to share pertinent info, standardized trail markers, and interpretive waysides in helpful spots.

Am supporting Dunbar Cave as it is one of my top outdoor destinations in Clarksville, full of history, and a great place to bring guests to visit.

Dunbar Cave is a beautiful lake park, with scenic trails and wildlife in abundance. Check it out sometime.

About Dunbar Cave State Park

Dunbar Cave State Park is a prehistoric wonder. Throughout the cave, visitors can see drawings dating back to the 14th century, done both in charcoal and carved into the limestone by Mississippian Native Americans. The cave is open for tours throughout the summer and fall, and the park features a museum and gift shop onsite to learn more.
