    This is my favorite park, Norris Dam, and Cedars of Lebanon are close behind. I have a history here, and I visit as much as possible. It's a great place to camp, relax and enjoy nature.

    I’ve been going to Cumberland Mountain State Park for over 50 years. I hope I get to continue visiting for many more years to come. Every child should have a park like this one to spend every summer at playing and exploring.

    I am a new member of Friends of Cumberland State Park. I am amazed at the spirit of volunteerism that abounds in the group and more importantly the commitment they have to the Park. Absolutely outstanding leadership and enthusiasm to provide resources to the community. The seminars are outstanding: Monarch butterfly exhibits, Aviary displays and actual "fly-overs " conducted by Park Rangers, and my favorite "Kite Flying". It is a joy to see parents and children working together and having fun. This is a group of people very dedicated to the Park.
