For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Big Ridge State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park! 

Your votes show that our park is loved, meaningful, and supported, and because we retain the donated funds, we can make our park even better.

Big Ridge State Park needs your support! With funds from the My TN State Park Fundraiser, our park aims to honor and preserve history by helping fund the historical exhibit project in the Old Stone Office Building for all park visitors to enjoy.

    I have lived near Big Ridge for over 38 years and have always enjoyed the beauty of the park, fishing, swimming and especially walking. The covered picnic areas and community house/center we have rented many times over for family and work functions. The staff are so kind and do such a wonderful job maintaining the park trails, buildings, parking lots, swimming pool , bathrooms and playground areas. My favorite time of year is August when they have the annual blue grass festival for FREE! My heart is with Big Ridge!

    Big Ridge is my “home park” and very favorite. Nearly 40 years of at least twice a year weekend stays, almost all of them in medieval garb. The group camp and all its quirks are more familiar to me than any park in Knoxville where I live. The rangers are always AWESOME and so supportive. Thanks y’all!

    Big Ridge is a Lovely state ark with the most cheerful and helpful staff and Rangers. Beautiful spring wildflowers along the trails. Lots of birds to watch. The rustic CCC cabins were perfect for a peaceful and restful getaway.
