'Years ago, my mother and I visited Roan Mountain State Park every year. I have such happy memories of those days!'

Give back to the park that gave you your favorite memories.

Now's your chance to show your love for Roan Mountain State Park. During the My TN State Parks Fundraiser in April, every donation is a vote for Roan Mountain State Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park, and an investment in its future.

With each vote, you're helping fund meaningful improvements such as constructing hiking trails and bridges, conserving habitats for wildlife, upgrading playgrounds, installing interpretive signage, and enhancing care for our raptor friends.

When you give, you help make these projects possible, creating a better and more enjoyable experience for everyone who visits our state parks.

Love Roan Mountain State Park! My family has been camping and making memories there since 1994. My boys and their friends learned to play tennis 🎾 at RMSP. My newest grandson, born last month, was named “Roan” in honor of RMSP.

About Roan Mountain State Park

Roan Mountain State Park sits at the base of the majestic 6,285-foot Roan Mountain, encompassing more than 2,000 acres dominated by rich hardwood forest along rugged ridges. The cool, clear Doe River winds its way through the center of the park and supports a healthy population of trout. Wildflowers and wildlife inhabit the hollows and ridges of the Roan foothills in abundance. The park is known for its unique mountain cabins and campsites, offering visitors a distinctive accommodation experience in one of Tennessee's most scenic high-elevation settings.
