Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park

Pinson Mounds State Park / My TN State Park Fundraiser 2026

'Pinson's Indian mounds preserve an important historical treasure and the park makes them accessible.'

Give back to the park that gave you your favorite memories.

Now's your chance to show your love for Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park. During the My TN State Parks Fundraiser in April, every donation is a vote for Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park, and an investment in its future.

With each vote, you're helping fund meaningful improvements such as constructing hiking trails and bridges, conserving habitats for wildlife, upgrading playgrounds, installing interpretive signage, and enhancing care for our raptor friends.

When you give, you help make these projects possible, creating a better and more enjoyable experience for everyone who visits our state parks.

About Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park

Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park covers more than 1,200 acres and contains at least 15 Native American mounds. In addition to Sauls Mound, the group includes Ozier Mound, the Twin Mounds, and Mound 31. Archaeological evidence suggests the mounds were both burial and ceremonial in purpose. Outdoor attractions at Pinson Mounds State Park include hiking trails which allow access to the Native American mounds and picnic facilities each equipped with a table and grill.
