Panther Creek State Park
Panther Creek State Park / My TN State Park Fundraiser 2026
'I have been a patron of Panther Creek State Park for over 45 years. It is an extremely special place! Also, I would like to commend the rangers and staff who keep the park operating and looking its best. Thank you!'
Give back to the park that gave you your favorite memories.
Now's your chance to show your love for Panther Creek State Park. During the My TN State Parks Fundraiser in April, every donation is a vote for Panther Creek State Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park, and an investment in its future.
With each vote, you're helping fund meaningful improvements such as constructing hiking trails and bridges, conserving habitats for wildlife, upgrading playgrounds, installing interpretive signage, and enhancing care for our raptor friends.
When you give, you help make these projects possible, creating a better and more enjoyable experience for everyone who visits our state parks.

I have enjoyed Panther Creek since high school. My family and I continue to enjoy this wonderful park. The trails are wonderful, the campground is great for all types of camping. I hope it continues to be Morristowns best nature park. Its irreplaceable.

About Panther Creek State Park
Panther Creek State Park is a 1,444-acre park located on the Cherokee Reservoir in the historic Holston River Valley. Pioneers from North Carolina and the older Watauga Settlement in East Tennessee arrived in this area around 1785. Hikers can enjoy magnificent views of Cherokee Lake and the Cumberland Mountains from Point Lookout Trail, reaching 1,460 feet above sea level. There are also more than 15 miles of mountain biking trails that range from easy to difficult. Visitors can extend their stay with a night at the campground.
