Fort Loudoun State Park
Fort Loudon State Park / My TN State Park Fundraiser 2026
'I love the Fort and all that this state park includes. Thank you for caring about teaching local history!'
Give back to the park that gave you your favorite memories.
Now's your chance to show your love for Fort Loudoun State Historic Park. During the My TN State Parks Fundraiser in April, every donation is a vote for Fort Loudoun State Historic Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park, and an investment in its future.
With each vote, you're helping fund meaningful improvements such as constructing hiking trails and bridges, conserving habitats for wildlife, upgrading playgrounds, installing interpretive signage, and enhancing care for our raptor friends.
When you give, you help make these projects possible, creating a better and more enjoyable experience for everyone who visits our state parks.

I love this park and all the history! The trails are well maintained and the lake is beautiful. I volunteer here when I can and I enjoy all the folks that work here as well.
About Fort Loudoun State Park
Fort Loudoun State Park is a 1,200-acre historic park and is one of the earliest British fortifications on the western frontier, built in 1756. The fort was reconstructed during the Great Depression and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1965. Today, the reconstructed fort and the ruins of the 1794 Tellico Blockhouse overlook TVA's Tellico Reservoir and the Appalachian Mountains. While experiencing the fort reconstruction, visitors can also experience hiking, birding, fishing, and paddling.
