Kids in Parks Program / My TN State Park Fundraiser 2026

We're on a mission to get all kids into our state parks! Our program aims to create opportunities for every student to experience the beauty and wonder of nature. A significant hurdle many local schools face in accessing state parks is the lack of transportation, and we're working hard to overcome this barrier, so that all students can enjoy and learn from our natural treasures.

About A Donation to Support Kids in Parks

Our Kids in Parks program supports Title 1 public schools with funds to cover transportation, making educational field trips to neighboring state parks possible. Students can learn STEM lessons as well as history, art and writing. Research shows that spending time outdoors reduces stress and improves mental health, especially for young kids. With younger generations spending more and more time on screens, it's imperative to raise awareness of these benefits and provide more opportunities for kids to connect with nature. In the 2023-24 school year, our Kids in Parks program sent 5,000 kids to experience the wonder of state parks, many of whom had never previously been on a hiking trail.
