Donate to vote for Warriors’ Path State Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park in the My TN State Park Fundraiser

For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Warriors’ Path State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park!

Your contributions significantly enhance the quality of our state parks. Donations support a range of vital projects, including improving hiking trails and bridges, conserving habitats for wildlife, upgrading playgrounds, installing interpretive signage, enhancing living conditions for our raptor friends, and bolstering equipment and supplies for emergency rescue services. Your support makes these essential projects possible, creating a better and more enjoyable experience for everyone who visits our state parks!

Warriors Path State Park is a beautiful place! We love camping there and the park crew is THE BEST. Friendly and knowledgeable, we look forward to seeing them every time we visit. The park is a perfect little oasis and should be on everyone's list to visit and enjoy!

My special needs daughter and I start each and every morning at this beautiful place looking for 'deer and duck friends' and our blue heron friend we've named 'Gunner'. We are so fortunate to have this treasure nearby

I love walking at Warriors Path. As a child, I enjoyed the little train that was there and playing on the playground. As I got older I loved going to the pool and water slide. The park is so beautiful and the accessible playground is great for kids of all abilities!

This park has been a sanctuary for me. Every time I come visit this area for an extended period of time I do my best to get to the trails here every day. Its an oasis away from the racing mind that life can bring. I have connected with nature in such powerful ways here. I also pick up copious amounts of trash plastic and styrofoam most days and bring it back to the trash can at the start. It is the least I can do for all this place has done for me.

Thank you to all the folks at Warriors Path State Park. I've been visiting the park for over 50 years, by boat, car, and camper. Years of family picnics, walking the island with friends, and camping (three time in the last year). I live in another state now, but the travel is worth it. This park is full of memories and joy for me and my family.

My husband and I quite often come out to walk around Duck Island. It is well kept, with lots of happy people walking , too. You will see people fishing with their kids, playing volleyball in the sand, or basketball. It’s a safe place to spend time outside.

About Warriors Path State Park

Warriors’ Path State Park was named for the Great Cherokee War and Trading Path. Since that time, the park land has known a long history of travelers and is still a pathway for modern-day outdoor enthusiasts. The 950-acre park is located on the shores of the Patrick Henry Reservoir on the Holston River.

The park is home to premier boating and fishing activity, with an incredible marina for rentals, snacks, and more, hiking trails, an internationally-renowned mountain bike trail system (which is a designated National Recreational Trail), an award-winning nature education program and a nationally recognized golf course.
