    I am thankful not only for beautiful, Roan Mountain State Park, but all of the dedicated town residents who help keep it so amazing! Hurricane Helene certainly ravaged the landscape, but. it still did not take away the "awe" of this park! That is what "Roan Mountain Strong" is all about!!!!

    Years ago, my mother and I visited Roan Mountain State Park every year. I have such happy memories of those days!
