Donate to vote for Long Hunter State Park as your favorite Tennessee State Park in the My TN State Park Fundraiser

For the entire month of April, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means if Long Hunter State Park is your favorite, you can donate to vote for us, and we’ll use your donations to improve our park!

Your contributions significantly enhance the quality of our state parks. Donations support a range of vital projects, including improving hiking trails and bridges, conserving habitats for wildlife, upgrading playgrounds, installing interpretive signage, enhancing living conditions for our raptor friends, and bolstering equipment and supplies for emergency rescue services. Your support makes these essential projects possible, creating a better and more enjoyable experience for everyone who visits our state parks!

I love Long Hunter! Always has fun activities to attend and interesting hikes. I've learned so much from programs and hikes led by Leslie Ann and/or Jason. I'm sad it takes me over an hour drive tine to get there. I'm so ready for the TN Coneflowers and to see a flame flower is on my bucket list.

About Long Hunter State Park

The 2,600 acres which make up this area became a state park in 1974 and has four sections, Couchville, Baker’s Grove, Bryant Grove and Sellars Farm. Long Hunter State Park offers a variety of recreational activities including fishing and hiking and has two boat launch ramps on J. Percy Priest Lake, a group camp, a backcountry campsite, meeting facility and a visitor center. The more than 30 miles of hiking trails provide a variety of terrain and habitats and range from pleasant strolls to longer jaunts for the more adventurous. Trails include a self-guided, paved arboretum trail and the five and a half-mile Volunteer Trail that follows the lakeshore.
