    I always looked forward so much to my childhood visits to Montgomery Bell State Park. I'm sure I took it for granted at the time, but those were special times. Although I live in Nashville now, I try to get my son down there when I can so he can experience some of the same things I did. All children should have the opportunity to visit our wonderful state parks!

    Getting kids outside might be one of the most important ways to increase their learning, sense of place, health, and leadership skills. The more kids we can get into our state parks, the better off our state will be!
