    I love this park. As a 67 yo woman, I feel so safe hiking here 2-3 times a week. Trails are well maintained. The Fort and museum are great. The regular reenactments are educational and enjoyable.

    Love my local park! The historical fort, it's displays and special Garrison weekends, great wooded trails along the lake, wonderful views of the Smoky Mountains, kayaking, picnic areas, movie in the nice visitor center, native flower beds and amazing rangers & staff..... super special place!
